These products have been designed for use in standard 19" equipment racks. When selecting these products, ensure that the proper product is used for the correct application.

Quick Reference To Rack Cooling Products

• Universal Cooler - 1RU (CP-UC) - At only 1RU, this unit is ideal for tight places in racks - for spot cooling or venting air into, or out of racks.
• Universal Cooler - 2RU (CP-UC-2) - For aggressively cooling rack components and/or venting air into, or out of, racks.
•  Component Unit (CP-CU-2FN, -4FN, -FL) - This unit primarily for cooling larger components in a rack. It can be placed above or below components.

The Below Products are For Open 2 or 4 Rail Open Racks Only

• Rack Side Cooler - 2 Fan (RK-SC-2FN) - For spot cooling smaller components.  Attaches to the side or back rail and can draw air into or out of the rack.
• Rack Side Cooler - 4 Fan (RK-SC-4FN) - For spot cooling larger components.  Attaches to the side or back rail and can draw air into or out of the rack.

Additional Products to Potentially Use in Racks

• Econo-Cooler (CP-EC) - An economic solution for spot cooling components. One of the best applications is to mount it to the side of a component to circulate air through side vents.
•  Single Fan Unit (CP-SF) - For spot cooling smaller components - can be placed directly on units in a rack.
• Dual Fan Unit (CP-SF) - For spot cooling mid- to larger-size components and is also simply placed on top of components in a rack.

Note Product Descriptions: Most of the product descriptions have been written with an emphasis on residential cooling applications.  Note that for commercial applications, the normal operating range on the power supply is 9 to 12V compared to 7 to 9V for residential applications.
