The wall duct boxes have been designed to fit within a 2x4 wall so no additional framing is required. These boxes are intended to be used in conjunction with our HiFlo and HiFlo Lite products as well and are accoustically treated to reduce noise within the boxes. With these unit, you can design your cooling systems during construction and once the system is roughed in, installing the fan units will only take minutes at trimout.
The ceiling boxes come in insulated versions for use in attics and then for more demanding applications, our Return Vent System features four 92mm fans and incorporates a standard HVAC filter to catch dust. The best results for installation is to work with the HVAC contractor and let them make the connection to the return system. By venting to a return vent, even if the HVAC system is not on, the warm air from the electronics mixes with the air in the home and when the HVAC system is on, the warm air is very efficiently conditioned and converted back into cool air in the summer or that warm air utilized in the heating of the home in the winter.
