This is an optional cover for the Cool Components 2RU Universal Cooler (1-CP-UC-2). This is to enclose the top of the unit so air is completely 'channeled' through the front of the unit. The most appropriate application would be for racks where the unit is primarily being used to exhaust hot air. With the cover installed on the Universal Cooler the noise level may increase, so the unit may need to be run at a lower speed.
