The SlimSix is a very versatile solution for bringing cooler air into or exhausting hot air to protect systems.. There are 2 versions of this product; the difference is in the configuration. The INT version is configured for air intake and the EXT version configured for exhaust. The easy way to think about this is if the unit is installed in a cabinet or in a door to vent a closet, do you need the unit to bring air in (Intake) or exhaust hot air? Its narrow design provides for installations in cabinets where space may be limited such as in the toe kick or top of the cabinet. Can also be installed in closet doors or any place where standard cooling products will not fit or where a slim sleeker look is desired. To add to the design, it is compatible with our existing passive grills with options ranging from decorative plastic to real wood versions capable of pleasing even the most discriminating clients.

Constructed of heavy-gauge steel, it contains 6 ultra-quiet, magnetic bearing DC fans that silently move up to 60cfm of air. The fans provide for vertical or horizontal mounting and utilizes custom silicone fan mounts to absorb vibrations from the fans. The mounts also facilitates easily changing the direction of air flow to provide maximum flexibility. Powered by an adjustable voltage Universal Power Supply, the fans can be run silently or more aggressively depending on the application - 5-7V for quieter applications and 9-12 for more aggressive operation. Additionally, the SlimSix System is compatible with all Cool Components low temperature controllers for automated fan control (TC-BSC/ALT/ASC).

Note: This unit is NOT rack mountable, use the Universal Cooler for Rack applications

Recommended Installations

In the bottom back of a cabinet - air enters through a passive grill in the toe kick and then is injected into the cabinet with the SlimSix
Top of cabinet behind a TV or in built-in cabinet/shelf units
Top or bottom of panel door (for equipment closets) narrow design will not interfere with door panels
Side of cabinet as an aesthetic option to other products
