This package is appropriate if you need two vents running simultaneously in your system

This package can be used to either exhaust double the amount of air or to setup a 'push/pull' configuration. This would involve using one unit to pull air out (exhaust) and the other to push air in (intake). If using this configuration, the exhaust vent should be mounted high while the intake vent mounted lower in the cabinet. It is usually preferable to have both vents pulling air out as fresh air will come in through even the smallest of openings around doors or through wiring holes, etc.

Q: I want to mount these on the back of a cabinet but from the inside. It looks like they are made to mount from the outside. Is there another/better product for exhausting out back of cabinet that mounts from the inside? I do not have easy access to the outside of the backside of cabinet.

A: Thanks for the question! There's a few options which the similar product and I'm assuming the Cabinet Vent would stick too far out the back so another option would be the Slim Vent. Other options in order of the amount of airflow the products move would be to use the DUO, HiFlo Lite Pro, HiFlo Pro which this unit is really really aggressive and only appropriate for a pretty large system. The DUO is fairly low airflow but a good value so maybe do 2 of them and it's always recommended to use the TC-ALT controller as that way have on/off and variable speed control.

Now to expand a little, with the DUO and HiFlo's you don't have to cut a square or rectangular hole, you can still use a round hole saw and then just mount the unit over the hole. Just make sure the airflow is going the right way and if necessary just flip the fan/s over by pulling one edge of the fan off from the silicone mount or when ordering just indicate that need the fan reversed and we can do it for you.
