This unit is ideal for moderately venting cabinets and enclosures with a new and much sleeker appearance. The new design also allows for easier installation which reduces the risk of damaging expensive millwork. It features a 92mm, top-quality magnetic bearing fan for higher airflow, low noise and long life. As ball bearing fans age they get louder and louder while these fans will remain silent throughout their life. The fan unit can be configured to pull air out of a cabinet (the default & recommended configuration) or push air into the cabinet depending on the application. The new design also makes it more versatile in that it can now also be used as a spot cooler. The fans are mounted using a special vibration dampening system which eliminates noise caused by fan vibration and also facilitates easily changing the direction of the airflow. The unit is powered with DC voltage and when used with our Universal Power Supplies, can be run silently or more aggressively depending on the application.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The opening for the fans DOES NOT have to match the profile of the fans. A single 3.5" hole provides for enough airflow for the unit.
Purchasing Options - This unit can be purchased by itself or in packages which include the fan unit, grill, and power supply. The available grill options, with rectangular (surface mount) and round (recessed) options. Rectangular colors are Black, White, Tan and round and recessed options are Black, White, Almond, Gray, Silver, Tan, Brown and Bronze. Wood grills options are also available. The unit is also available in various packages as well. The round grills are screw-less and lower profile inset mount while the traditional rectangular grills are surface mounted.
Harsh Environment (HE) Option - This unit is also available with a fan engineered with an industry leading IP68 rating for harsh environments which is ideal for outside, wet, humid or especially dirty and dusty areas. The units are also effective in high altitudes and in extreme temperatures. It should be noted that harsh environment does not mean better quality or longevity, just enhanced engineering and production to protect against these environmental situations. In practical terms this means that unless truly require the added protection, there is no reason to purchase harsh environment fans. The Harsh Environment option is the HE fan unit only (does not include grills and power supply).
High Velocity (HV) Option - This unit by design is intended to be both effective and quiet at the same time. This balance is critical in residential applications, in board rooms, lecterns and various other applications but often times and especially in the commercial and industrial environments noise is not as much of a concern as airflow. For this reason we offer with unit with a High Velocity fan which moves considerably more air. The High Velocity option is the HV fan unit only (does not include grills and power supply).
